Take A Peak into Fall at Cloudland Station

This fall, we were excited to introduce the This Old House Cottage at Cloudland Station during our annual fall festival on Oct. 24-25. We celebrated the grand opening of This Old House, Inc.’s first, newly-built, decorated show home: The Cottage at Cloudland Station.

The Cottage

Visitors on this grand opening weekend toured the cottage which was described by the Chattanooga Times Free Press as “a whimsical and would be a perfect home — full of secret nooks, quirky character and lit by electric candles — for a family of hipster hobbits.”

Guests were delighted by the warm colors, intriguing nooks and crannies, hiding spots, gathering spots and fresh design concept. We packed a lot into this little home and no detail was too small.

Our Grand Opening Weekend & Fall Festival

Homeowners, friends, and visitors also enjoyed two full days of hayrides through the community, local artisans displaying their craft in the Great Barn, music on the front porch of the Homestead, pony rides, pumpkin painting and more! More than a few families posed for their holiday cards in the picturesque setting of our town center.

Let’s Have an Encore!

Join us November 28 and 29 from 12-7 p.m.

Instead of the hustle, bustle, crowds and stress of  the post holiday shopping craze, escape to Cloudland Station and experience a memorable post-Thanksgiving day with friends and family enjoying the simple things.

At our Artisan Gift Bazaar & Encore Open House, you can still scoop up unique holiday gifts from local artisans and have a chance to tour the This Old House Cottage which will be custom decorated for Christmas in the fashion of days gone by. We will sip on cider, hot cocoa, and wine as we dive into a warm bowl of chili. The kids will have a chance to see Santa, soak up the holiday lights, take a hayride, listen to music, enjoy seasonal crafts, and more.

It will be time well spent!
