Hot and humid Southern summer days mean one thing: ice cream indulgence.
Perhaps it is why in 1984, President Reagan proclaimed July to be National Ice Cream Month.
Our ice cream celebration here at the station will include three tasty homemade ice creams, chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla.
Want to get in on the action?
We will be serving all three flavors for $2.00 a scoop Friday, July 20th, at the Farmstand from noon to 5pm. Saturday, July 21st, at the Pool, we will set up an ice cream stand from noon to 2pm.
And then to top it off on Saturday, we will have a $5.00 ice cream class at the Schoolhouse from 2:30-3:30pm. You will learn the mason jar method, a quick and easy no churn ice cream recipe that is fun for the whole family. You will be able to take home your creation. Spots are limited to 15 people.
This class will be led by your Social Director, Sarah, so let her know you are coming to the ice cream class by responding to the RSVP.
