Community Life
Taking Time for the Simple Things... Together
Whether it's a quiet stroll under a starry sky with your partner, or a Fourth of July Cookout with friends old and new, Cloudland Station values connecting as a community as foundational to its mission. The community amenities are created to celebrate simple pleasures together. Swimming holes, hiking trails, the recreation barn, all these fun places and activities are enjoyed by Members as they create a treasure trove of great memories together.

Early Moon Farms
Building Community through a Common Interest
While still in its growing stages, we have big plans for our growing farmstead. Our goats, chickens, and donkeys provide a fun attraction for our community, while the chicken also provide fresh eggs to the residents.
We are also growing an annual vegetable garden and have recently planted an orchard of fruit trees with an expectation of a yield in the near future.
Many have enjoyed pitching in to help the burgeoning Farmstead grow. Hence, while the ultimate goal of Early Moon Farms is to provide a bounty of healthy produce, it also serves to connect Members who share a common interest in gardening. In fact, through the years, the Farmstand has become a great place to grab some eggs, pick some fresh produce, and catch up with neighbors.
Candlelight Forest
Cloudland Station members can enjoy all of the benefits of our contiguous family resort, Candlelight Forest! Take a hike through one of the many trails, canoe across Lake Angela, or shop for local goodies in our farmstand, the Plucky Peacock. Candlelight Forest allows limited access to the public, including overnight accommodations for an extended stay, but for Cloudland Station members this is an added amenity to experience and enjoy!

"Whether it is a morning walk with friends down a creekside path, or teaching a child how to bait their first hook, such simple pleasures are the best antidote to disconnected and stress-filled living.
Here at Cloudland Station, taking time for simple things is the very rhythm of life, enriching us all with more beautiful, healthy and connected lives."
